A segment of the M22 motorway overpass near Baoji has been closed after a partial structural collapse, authorities confirmed today.

No injuries were reported, as the collapse occurred outside peak traffic hours. A detour has been established to reroute traffic, and reconstruction work is scheduled to begin tomorrow evening.

Officials have opened a formal investigation into the cause of the structural failure to determine whether design, construction, or maintenance issues were involved.
